Please check each "COURSE OF STUDY" below for your student notes. You can get a jump on 3rd semester by checking the syllabus for the required readings for OB/Peds. The first exam is on: Monday, 6/7/2018. Always supplement your learning by reading the correlating chapters in your Saunders, NCLEX-PN book and your ATI materials.
Please check the "Clinical Forms" link for required clinical forms.
Required readings prior to beginning PN 3 are from your "Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-PN", textbook : Chapters 4 and 5.
Click on the "Student Self-Enrollment Handout" link below and log into Evolve using the course ID number provided BEFORE the first day of the PN 3 semester. Test grades are posted on Evolve so if you want your grades, log into Evolve.
ATI is very important this semester ! ATI is a "home-based" study supplement. Students are expected to read their ATI course content and complete all "non-proctored exams" at home to prep for the "proctored exams" which are weighted at 5% of your GPA for the assigned course of study, which are Med/Surg, OB & Peds. ATI has been proven to improve student performance on NCLEX. We strongly suggest you purchase the ATI Tutor as it guarantees you will pass the NCLEX on the first attempt. As you know, you must pass the NCLEX to obtain your nursing license.
Time flies by very quickly in 3rd semester. Keep your focus so you can finish strong.
